Midcoast Maine Green Burial (MMGB) will offer a public presentation about green burial at the Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist, 200 Main Street, Thomaston, on Thursday, June 13.
The event will begin with a potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. A PowerPoint presentation about green burial will follow at 6:30 p.m. There is no admission charge. All are welcome. Please bring something to share for the potluck!

"A Will for the Woods"
This film tells the story of a man facing death and how he found meaning in his midlife dying by initiating the creation of a green burial ground near his home. Included in the film is the story of the early days of the Green Buiral Council that has become such a valuable resource.
Following the film, volunteers working to bring a green burial option to the Midcoast will be available for further discussion.
